Support of the Waukee School District is critically important to this project.  The Waukee School District serves students from Waukee, West Des Moines, Clive, and Urbandale.  Our youth programs also serve this greater population.  It is our hope that the City of Waukee and the Waukee School District can provide recreational opportunities for our youth by collaborating and partnering on this project to build a recreational complex that will enhance our quality of life and provide needed facilities for our youth.

Time and again, experience has taught us that by working together we can accomplish so much more.  Through collaboration and sharing of resources, we can create efficiences which will, in the long run, save time and money.  WYRD is eager to help facilitate the dialogue, planning and fundraising necessary to make a recreational complex in our community a reality. 

Recreational opportunities will make a community and a school district strong by bringing people together - WYRD's goal is to make this happen!
